Love as a solution

Dialoism is an African art movement that takes on a new exclusive approach to celebrating the power of oneness, also referred to as Ubuntu. Ubuntu is an ancient African term that makes reference to an expression of humanity amongst people. The artist communicates this theory in his work as a way in which all things are connected by representing his reality, emotions, and ideas. He makes use of geometrical forms, patterns, biophilia and symbols to compose his subject matter, whilst creating his new visual language. The different realities, as a collection, should inspire the viewer to become more conscious and aware of their immediate environment. Consequently, the artworks assume the visual form of the ordinary scenes that surround us and capture the various momentary instances that become and tell a story.

These stories are intended to allow the viewer to see deeper and beyond ordinary life. Thus, demonstrating that a seemingly unimportant event is part of a large, cosmic event in which humans have a great influence. Therefore, as a collective, the body of artworks links the artistic world between the past, present and future, whilst highlighting tradition and contemporaneity as additional themes. The artist draws attention to the planet and alludes to an earthly paradise that can be preserves and handed down to future generations.
